The location is amazing. The employees are great; they are incredibly kind and helpful. The business manager lady is a great person. If I come to Coimbra one more time, I will definitely stay here.

Wonderful staff. Thank you especially to Carla for going out of her way to help me figure out tours and activities in the area. An excellent stay — very good breakfast, simple but comfortable room, sparkling clean with brand new bathroom. Excellent location a few metres from the free Mondego Metro shuttle between the train station and the downtown. Coimbra is a beautiful city.

I hurt my foot in Coimbra. The staff were extremely helpful in explaining to me what medical options I had and how to go to the hospital and the pharmacy. They even wrote down my problem in Portuguese on a piece of paper which facilitated me a lot in going through the registration at the hospital's reception. In the few days thereafter, they assisted me in my recovery by providing unlimited ice etc. I am most grateful. The hotel is a 3-star one. So do not expect fancy facilities. But we had everything we needed and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Its location moreover is truly excellent: right next to the free shuttle bus terminus to Coimbra-B train station, near to several great cafes/restaurants and just a couple of minutes' walk to the Largo da Portagem where one can start touring around the old town.
