A good resort to break up the long 10 hour drive to the Gold Coast. We were assigned room 49. Only 2 wine glasses and 2 martini glasses stocked in the kitchen cupboard. With four adults booked in, definitely need to add more glassware in the kitchen. We laughed at the small "privacy" curtain in the bedroom which literally did not cover the ensuite bathroom window space, so when using the bathroom guest is completely visible, need to close the bedroom window blind as there is a public walkway outside bedroom; people both in the room and outside the room can see guest using the bathroom. It needs a wooden shutter screen fitted properly, not a too small for the space piece of fabric. We ordered a local pizza delivery which was excellent with easy delivery. Note: Did not realize that 'Sapphire Beach' is so dangerous, got swept into the surf fully clothed when taking a short stroll along beach before checking out.

Nice enough room, ageing but clean. Not a lot of staff around but the cleaner we did see was very helpful and friendly. Great location with a view of the ocean and a short walk to the beach. Small shop/servo close by to get essentials and a short drive to city centre.
