Fantastic location close to Hurst Green which we needed. Lovely peaceful site. Basic room but very friendly welcoming reception and delicious breakfast

It is in grounds of a leading public school of which I am an old boy albeit many years ago. It is a historic building extremely well converted in a historic setting. It is a rural location with plenty of walks available including some with J R R Tolkein connections (two of his sons had connections to the college -- one of them taught me Latin!). Excellent pub The Shireburn Arms in Hurst Green a mile and half away for lunch and dinner. Also a great golf course quarter of a mile away!
