Guest houses Overview

Buttermilk Lodge is 5 minutes walk from Clifden town centre, so you can just park your car and easily walk to town.
There are 3 apartments with private external entrance - 2 x one-bedroom on the ground floor and 1 x two-bedroom self-catering apartment on the first floor, upstairs and 3 further apartments located in the main building, entered by the main entrance - 2 x one bedroom and one x 2 bedroom, these are located on the first floor -upstairs.
Apartments are self-catering (no meals included) and have separate entrances, comfortable living areas with TV and fireplace. Each bedroom has a private shower room with personal toiletries, towels etc. All bedrooms have good storage, excellent beds - fully dressed, tv, hairdryer etc. The fully equipped kitchens have cookers, microwave, dolce gusto coffee machine, all utensils etc and washer-dryers. On arrival you will find tea/coffee, fresh milk, juice, cereals, condiments and homemade brown bread and cake.
There is excellent complimentary Wi-Fi and private parking. Patrick and Cathriona breed Connemara Ponies and Sheep on their farm which is located a few miles from the house, guests are welcome to visit during their stay and can meet our dogs Milo, Robbie and Ben if they wish.

This self-catering (no meals included) apartment is up one flight of outdoor stairs. It features one bedroom with a 6ft bed and large ensuite shower room. The second bedroom has a 5ft bed, and is opposite the bathroom. Both have 32' TVs, radio, hairdryer and ironing facilities. There are free toiletries and towels. It has a seperate living area with electric fireplace, 50' TV and a fully equipped kitchen with cooking facilities and washer/dryer.

This apartment features a fireplace. This spacious apartment comprises 1 living room, 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a walk-in shower and free toiletries. The well-equipped kitchen features a stovetop, a refrigerator, a dishwasher and kitchenware. The apartment provides a washing machine, soundproof walls, a tea and coffee maker, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, as well as garden views. The unit offers 2 beds.

Just Incredible such a great find. We never stayed in a place with such well thought out amenities for your every need in a self catering accommodation. Beautiful clean apartment. 5 minute walk into the town. Highly recommended and will definitely be back.

1. The one-bedroom apartment was very spacious, featuring a separate living area with a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable bedroom, and a modern bathroom. 2. The kitchen included a coffee maker, kettle, stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, and a full set of utensils. 3. A washing machine and dryer were provided, along with detergent. 4. A generous welcome pack was included, offering complimentary tea and coffee, fresh milk, juice, condiments, cereals, soda bread, and fruit cake. 5. The bathroom was spacious and modern, with towels and personal toiletries provided. 6. Complimentary Wi-Fi was available throughout the apartment. 7. Free on-site parking. 8. The owners were friendly and helpful. 9. Location - short walk into the town centre.

Lovely clean apartment with everything provided for. Great location to walk in and out of Clifden. Lovely to have brown bread and fruit cake on arrival as well as the basics left in fridge. Would definitely book it again next time we are in Clifden.
