The location was amazing, the house was so welcoming, we loved our stay, such a lovely place to stay and the pubs we not far way to eat

Excellent location for Ennerdale Water very close by plus easy access to many mountains. Very nice (quiet) pub literally next door, another one 5mins walk away plus a nice river walk for dogs...a lovely village feel with a charming old church next to the other pub, itself very traditional. Parking is off road alongside the property, big tick. Outside hosepipe also very handy. Heating worked well and overall the property is nicely appointed.
