The location couldn’t be better just a stones throw from the Cathedral & port area. The bed was so comfy & the bed linen superb quality. Shower was built in cubicle with both fixed rain shower head & a flexible one. Perfect. Breakfast was a unique experience for us, superb selection of cold meats, cheeses, sandwiches, pastries, fruit.

What a wonderful experience! Right in the heart of Old Ciutadella, our room was large with a big bathroom (walk-in shower, bath) and we had a private roof terrace (Room 12) with views across the Old Town. There's also a roof terrace and look-out point where you can see 360. Breakfast has lovely pinchos-type delicacies on bread - lots of them - and there are omelettes, fruit and cakes. Kind, warm and helpful staff. It's located around the corner from Ses Voltes, the Cathedral and Born Square and there are good bars and restaurants nearby, including Es Raco, and our old favourite, Moriaty's (really excellent food). It was my birthday while we were at Maia's and the lovely Issa put a bottle of Cava and lovely biscuits in our room, a smashing surprise. We love Menorca and Ciutadella is a lovely old town, with the excellent TIB bus service to other towns (including Mao, Ferreries, Es Mercadal and Alaior) and of course the beaches in summer. The superb Express bus from Mao (pay on bus) is the quickest way to get to Ciutadella and so cheap. And Menorca buses are actually air conditioned coaches, so use them! I could go on but then I'd sound like a paid tour guide. Thanks to everyone at the Maia, we'll see you soon

The manager of the hotel is very friendly, she helped us find a taxi, arranged everything so that our stay was fantastic.

Hotel Maïa is perfectly situated in the centre of Ciutadella. The breakfast is well thought through, rooms are comfy and very clean. Staff is very helpfull. Listen to them concerning the parking spaces, they are very fast in writing parking tickets there :-).
