“A comfortable apartment with fantastic swimming pools.”

The apartment had a great balcony with a lovely view of the pool and sea. The swimming pools (one is adult-only) were very clean and tidy. The apartment was cleaned every day, the whole site is spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist with all our queries including booking a hire car for a couple of days. The family pool has a bar which sells snacks and ice creams so you could stay there all day. If you don't have a car there is a well stocked convenience store a few minutes walk down the road.

The stay at this hotel was spectacular from the start, we had an upgrade and the apartment was perfect: clean, spacious, quiet. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking (there are pans, forks, baking trays, you also provide the cleaning kit, although cleaning is done daily). The bathroom was also equipped, we found shampoo and conditioner! The hotel has two swimming pools, one larger and one smaller with sea views. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The location is superb - we thought it would be secluded when people said it was in a residential area but it's literally a 10 minute straight walk into Ciutadella centre where there's an endless number of bars and restaurants. We also used the bus network quite a lot from the centre too to get to nearby beaches that were a touch too far to walk with a newborn baby. There's a superb vegetarian restaurant nearby though if you need something very close - and when we arrived late and didn't feel like going out, the reception ordered us a takeaway which was very thoughtful. The staff were super friendly and always printed out bus timetables and maps for us, and booked transfers where we needed. Overzealous cleaners who love to clean even if you put do not disturb sign on, but at least they keep it spotless! The apartment was super spacious with a balcony although ours didn't get any sunlight. The apartment had adequate kitchen amenities but maybe not if you wanted to cook a lot, was relatively basic. We didn't have a sea view but we just sat along the pool facing the sea if we wanted that. The view was superb especially with the little castle too and it's a great walk along the port/sea - great for seeing the sunset as well. The poolside area is OK, it's quite basic in both look and what it offers from the bar, but does the job. We were travelling with a newborn and they set up a cot ready for when we arrived.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The apartments have a good size and are nicely clean. The location is close to the centre of Ciutadella. The area is very safe and peaceful.
