Tonia is such a generous host and clearly put a lot of thought and care in her property. The pool and grounds are immaculate, beautifully laid out and lovely finishes. Our appartement was spacious and welcoming, with lots of homely touches and very comfortable. Only a few minutes drive from Cisternino and a perfect base to visit the Istria Valley.

The attention to detail including thoughtful welcoming touches, peaceful location amongst olive groves, proximity to Cisternino, spacious rooms, authentic and perfectly maintained secure property, stunning garden, beautiful pool, super comfortable bed and bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen. Beautifully lit at night and the most amazing hosts.

Beautiful place in a beautiful part of the world and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The whole place was very well appointed and was tastwfully decorated. Lovely swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds. Would definitely recommend Domus Petri and would certainly stay here again if we are back in this part of the world.

We stayed nine nights at Domus Petri 1908, which is a beautiful self-catering holiday accommodation just outside Cisternino in Puglia. We had received good instructions to find the location, and were immediately struck by the charm of the property. We were warmly welcomed by Tonia and Pietro, the owners, who showed us around and helped us to transfer our luggage into our one-bedroom unit, L'Ulivo. It is one of just three units on the property, with accommodation for a maximum of just eight people in total. The main building is a traditional trullo (dated 1908 hence the name of the property), which houses a two-bedroom unit, Il Melograno, and another one-bedroom unit, Il Fico d'India. Everything around the property is immaculate. The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen in our unit were all well-equipped and comfortable. The shaded area immediately outside with tables and chairs was perfect for sitting, drinking and eating for breakfast, lunch and supper. The pool is a good size and is kept spotlessly clean, both the water and the surrounds. With only a maximum of eight people staying, it would never be crowded, and, as it happened, we actually had it mostly to ourselves when we used it. In summary, Domus Petri 1908 is a very relaxing place to stay and we would certainly choose to stay there again on any future visit to the area.
