The family that runs this pension is the best. They really care about their guests, and do everything in their power to make their stay a good one. They even accommodated my vegetarian diet. The restaurant seems very good, and the beer options are great as well. The location couldn't be better, in the middle of the forest but still directly on the Transfagarasan. Perfect for access to Lake Balea and the Fagaras mountains. The outside really seems well thought through, with a zipline over the river and many seating options and even a whirlpool.

Beautiful location with several nice outside siting areas. The staff were very accommodating and responsive to all our requests. The rooms were clean and spacious.
