My wife and I were victims of a scam in a nearby motel and were left on our own (no accomodation) at midnight in a remote place, high in the mountains. The host was very helpful and literally saved us.

Everything was perfect. Location is beautiful and close to the hiking trails, it was clean. I would say is really good value for money. The host was really nice, answering to our questions and offering us coffee in the morning.

We received an incredibly kind and warm welcome from our hosts, Victor and Maia, as well as the 6 amazing dogs who all live nearby..! The living chalet was exceptionally clean and tidy. And the accommodation comes with a separate cooking/dining chalet which is full of rustic charm. And has an open fire place to complete the alpine feel…! We loved this place. And certain members of our family shed tears upon departing…

We booked a separate guest house. This place was immaculate and nicely decorated. The owner's approach to the clients was amicable and they created a great atmosphere. Before our trip to the mountains, we were served Italian coffee. This place is located very close to the main attractions of the Transfagarasan road, so You do not spend a long time travelling somewhere.
