Location was quiet. There was a lot of helpful guides and information given by the cottage managers. The location was quiet and there was a beautiful garden we had tea in. The cottage was comfortable and really clean. The host was extremely hospitable and kind - he picked up flowers I ordered for my family and prepared them for my parents anniversary and came to pass us some oil when we needed them for cooking.

It was a large home, 3 bedrooms upstairs with 2 bathrooms. A downstairs toilet, large kitchen with breakfast room. We loved cooking (all facilities and kitchen implements found easily), eating dinner and playing games in this room. It was a nice touch to have salt, pepper, clingfilm, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll. Large sitting room downstairs too. The area was stunning, we went for walks each day .... very safe, very quiet country roads. We were lucky to see a deer, foxes, hares and plenty of birds. It is about 20 minutes from Tescos in Cirencester, or 50 minutes away - if you are interested in Clarkson's Farmers Dog pub with a huge Diddlysquat shop, butchers. Suddely castle nearby was excellent and we learned a lot about Katherine Parr. Highclere castle about an hour away. Beautiful Cotswold cottages all around. You need to drive to go anywhere but it you want peace and quiet, then it was beautiful. There was a large garden out back looking onto fields ...very tranquil.
