Excellent location with ample parking. The bed was very comfy and the room was quiet. There were tea/coffee making facilities and a hairdryer.

The location of the property was perfect, just a short walk away from the town. The room was exceptional and the bed was one of the comfiest I’ve slept in. The highlight was the hosts who were incredible kind and accommodating, I would highly recommend staying here.

The bus stop was very near from the hotel, so we could go Bibury and Bourton-on-the-Water by bus. And also the supermarket was near.

The owners of the hotel were incredibly helpful. They gave excellent service and made me some food even though I arrived very late. Excellent customer service.

What a great little pub this is! A real hidden gem in Cirencester and I never realised it was there!!! While literally about 2-3 minutes walk to the start of the town centre, it is off the main routes into/out of town so is in a very quiet location with no traffic to disturb the peace but is very easy to get to by car. And parking was very easy. Very much a traditional "country" pub in a quiet town location, there was a group of locals playing darts in one bar with some guests chatting in the other. In true pub tradition, we were soon discussing all sorts of topics including salt-water crocodiles - there were some Aussies staying - seemingly, no salties in Ciren - well, that we know of! Nice to chat with the staff too who were really helpful with ideas for what to do or where to visit locally if you are not familiar with the area. That said, if you wanted a quite evening you could sit away from the bar. You couldn't fault the room and the breakfast, freshly cooked to order, well.......! The icing on the cake that was! As a fairly regular visitor to Cirencester, I will definitely use the Talbot as my "base" on future visits - just wish I'd found it years ago!

The owners were absolutely gorgeous people. Incredibly kind and welcoming. It is also in a great location - just a short walk into the heart of Cirencester.
