Historic building in a central location with stylish decor. We liked the relaxed, dog friendly atmosphere, the friendly staff and the tasty breakfast.
Charles “Superb”

Wonderful hotel located in the heart of Cirencester. First, the hotel looks great both inside and outside. Our room (#1) and bathroom were gigantic (and we learned it was the room likely used by Charles II when he fled Cromwell). Despite overlooking the street and being above the small terrace if the hotel's restaurant the room was quiet (the restaurant is the hotel's, there no particular noise from the people staying or not and sitting there for their dinner. We have a 3yo daughter and put her to bed early, and she was not bothered at all by any outside noise, neither were we). The breakfast was excellent (their porridge was delicious, to the point that while I traditionally pick the full English for breakfast, I decided to go for the porridge most of the time (bear with me, the full English is super tasty as well). We went to the hotel's restaurant every night. The food is great, and they have quite a few dinner choices for kids, which also make it very convenient! We highly recommend the hotel and will likely come back there and look at their other locations across the country. It's really worth it!
