Location fabulous but very difficult to access for many cars or mobile homes as up a very narrow steep bendy lane. View from bedroom great. Away from traffic. Silence. No loud music playing anywhere. A real fire. Drink on arrival. We were allowed to start breakfast at 8.30 which was much appreciated as we had to set off. Wonderful glass wall on bedroom with views. So restful. The staff were very young and very friendly. The cuisine was fantastic. I would never eat anywhere else. Best food we had in Portugal in fact. Evening meal 10/10. Good wine selection. Breakfast would be 10/10 but only gets a 6/10 from me due to the dolce gusto which sadly let down the breakfast and the morning of departure.
