Bogentrakt is located in the now renovated former city prison.Please note that for group bookings of 2 rooms or more a full prepayment of the total amount is required 30 days prior to arrival. Free cancellations and changes can only be done up until 30 days prior to arrival."Lockable bicycle storage is not included in the room price. Guests may use our public bike room free of charge for storage or can pre-book our lockable bike room for a small surcharge. Bicycles are not allowed to be taken to the rooms or into the hostel due to fire safety reasons."Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

An excellent central location. Very quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and modern, it is situated in a magnificently renovated former prison. A good-sized room with an ensuite toilet and curtains for each bed. A good restaurant and bar is situated next door. Very good value. . It was easily the best hostel I stayed at in Switzerland.

It was good that the shared rooms had curtains for each bed for privacy. The shared kitchen with a fridge was also nice. Cool design and nice staff too!

The location was walking distance to cafes and restaurants, shops and the old town. The bathroom was nice and modern - underfloor heating. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had not stayed in a hostel before but the novelty of staying in a prison was reason enough to book. We were impressed.

The communal room was great for relaxing. We loved our curtained beds. Brilliant location and a very high class hostel!
