On my first trip to New Zealand, I had an experience at Hotel George that was both thrilling and moving. I accidentally left my bag—full of travel memories—on the night bus. Since it was late, neither the phone nor the counter could assist me, and the next morning I had to leave early for a tour, and the day after that, I had to return home. At that point, I had almost given up hope. However, the staff member I spoke with that evening contacted the bus company multiple times and even went out of their way to pick up the bag once it was found. My stay at Hotel George was wonderful, with excellent meals and comfortable facilities, but it made me realize that what brings the greatest joy is the warmth of people. Thank you so much, Mark. P.S. The pen I received from another staff member at the end has become a treasured keepsake for my son!
