Beautiful building with history and character. Easy self entry system, though there was a member of staff in reception who was friendly and helpful. Room 4 was spacious and beautifully decorated. Only slight downside was being at the front of the building opposite a busy road. As it turned out it didn't bother me that much once the window was closed, dark curtains drawn, and earplugs alongside bedside fan provided a very comfortable sleep. Lovely linen sheets and comfy bed. Powerful 2 way shower in the morning with fluffy white towels, all in all felt quite luxurious. I didn't try the Colin Nash restaurant which is situated in the grounds, however, I would be tempted if I stayed again as it looked very inviting with a menu reflective of its quality and reasonably priced. The wellness centre aspect was also very appealing for a future visit. Loved it.
