Peter “Lovely small rural hotel in Tuscany”

Lovely rural hotel with splendid views over the countryside. It is an old building beautifully converted with huge splendid bathrooms. There is a rather nice pool (pretty crisp in October) and nice grounds to wander in. Food is exquisite but on the expensive side. If you are looking for hearty fare you might be disappointed. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great place to stay while exploring the area.

We were fortunate to stay at Poggio Piglia during our honeymoon in september and the whole experience was over the moon. The amazing people running the hotel were so welcoming and helpful. We only stayed for 3 nights, but we wish it could have been longer. Arriving and being offered sparkling wine and a tour of the house, the history, the room, and the grounds, really made us feel at home

Exceptional breakfast. One of the only hotel in Italy to offer fresh omelettes as a part of breakfast. Most comfortable beds and a very good sized room and bathroom. Excellent views and landscapes from the property. Very friendly and helpful staff

We had two wonderfull days there. The staff could not be more friendly. Local restaurant was offering delisious meals. Amazing views. Great swimming pool. We definetly recomment to stay at the villa.
