This is an incredible place to stay - the room is so comfortable and the view is amazing. We have been backpacking and staying here felt like a holiday from the rush and bustle of moving place to place, we felt so relaxed and welcome here. The host is very responsive over text and is kind. The check-in and check-out process was very easy and clear. The room is high up and so very quiet (there are some local cats we made company with). Highly recommend staying here!

It was a fantastic stay. It’s hard to find the place at first and there are many steps to carry your suitcase up. Pick this place if your luggage is not too heavy. once there … it’s a dream! The view is gorgeous. And it’s away from the busyness of the market streets. Internet is excellent and I could do a lot of work from my room looking out at the sea.

Loved it. Location was great, overlooking the entire Jiufen town. The panning windows offered great views. I especially liked the fact that the entrance to the floor (room on level 2) is along some shrubs, offering a unique type of privacy and sense of secrecy. The husband & wife owners offered amazing hospitality. The room is filled with unique wooden furniture and fittings from the native taiwanese cypress - adding a very cozy, natural aesthetic to it.

Responsive owner, giving clear directions and the place was easy to locate. View of mountain and sea was great. The friendly kitty was the best surprise for me.
