The location, quiet enough to appreciate the calm setting but within a 10-15 minute walk across the river you were in the centre of the town. The house is immaculately clean and is fully equipped with everything you could need to enjoy that home from home experience and all the little touches made it more special. The house has its own private/spacious gated garden where you can barbecue, relax in the sun and is perfect if you have dogs ( we have a large miserable dog who is not always the friendliest but the owners were fantastic in respecting that). There is an above the ground pool but the property has a large original pool that will be in use in the next couple of weeks, which will be an amazing asset to the property. There is also a large outdoor covered eating area which is available for use of the guests which we took advantage of and Chris and Ken kindly invited us to an evening barbecue which was delicious! We were so sad to leave and have already booked for next year and intend to spread the word with our friends and family as this place is something really special! Thank you so much for making it such a relaxing break which was certainly much needed.
