Excellent location, free parking near by and an easy stroll into the town Owners very welcoming and freindly, nothing was too much trouble, great recommendatons for restaurants and where to go for wine tasting. Excellent bedroom with courtyard , very clean great facilities and quiet Great breakfast with quality local ingredients

We loved the Gabriel Hotel. We had a huge room in a quiet annexe, with a small courtyard with shaded seated area. The room was spotless and we loved the modern decor. The bathroom was a good size with a great shower. Due to the extreme heat the owners had provided us with a fan for the 4 nights we were there. Breakfast was buffet style and had a good choice. The hotel is right by the river. There is plenty of free parking close by, and it’s a nice 10 min walk into the centre. The owners are lovely and very friendly and helpful. They recommended a chateau to visit that we hadn’t heard of, and it was one of our favourites. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

They accommodated all our needs re mobility and the room was large and comfortable. The reception and breakfast area was lovely and reflected the owners. The owners were very helpful and accomodating offering advice when asked. The breakfast was very good and offered all you needed. Great place to stop if you are visiting the Chinon area.

The hotel was immaculately clean. Bed linen and towels so clean and white. A lot of attention to detail in the decor. The hosts were very attentive. Extra bottles of water and a fantastic fan were added to the room for our comfort during this heatwave. Very quiet location within very easy reach of the fortress and the centre of town. A lovely little inner courtyard and garden. Very good breakfast featuring local produce. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place.
