Lovely large comfortable house with good facilities in a really good location. Off street parking good. Immediate access to great walking and cycling. And good pubs/restaurants.

Lower Lane is a great house for families and groups looking to have a break away in the Peak District. Its location is about a 20 min drive from Castleton where you can enjoy many walks in the hills and appreciate the wonderful views across the Hope Valley. The property is spacious, clean and well equipped with very comfortable beds and super soft linen. Enough room for 8 people to eat and sleep with a sunny garden to enjoy as well. A large range master oven and double fridge was well received as were the two bathrooms and extra toilet. Parking for two cars was great too and parking next to the house was found easily. We had a meal at the Old Hall Inn which was superb. The extremely well stocked Londis was handy for those forgotten items. Overall a great house in a lovely quiet village.

Huge property in a lovely village with great views. The keys were easily collectable, the house was very clean, beds comfy and we had all the required utensils in the kitchen. We also had dogs with us during the stay and it was perfect for them, with a secure back garden and lots of room inside. There is everything you need just a short walk away (shops, pubs, takeaways). We booked this property as part of a Christmas present for a family weekend away and we have all loved it.
