We had an incredible stay. We came as a family and had more than enough space for all three of us. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, providing us with everything we needed for a barbecue. The 'tapchan' is lovely, it's hidden under a roof along with the grill, a fireplace to cook on, a television (right in front of the outdoor tapchan), and a table. We spent most of our time in the shade in the tapchan when it was sunny, and if we wanted to, we could easily take a dip in the pool or enjoy the birds and flowers in the garden. The house is well stocked, with a kitchen (fridge and all utensils available), the rooms clea n, the bathroom nice and big with a sauna that the hosts will happily help you use for a small fee. A short walk from the house there is a small shop that the hosts help manage, along with a beautiful park where you can hike. It's also a short 20-30 minute walk to the cable car to reach the top of small Chimgan, with several lovely places to eat samsa and drink tea.

As you might expect for this price (compared to the other offers in this area) it’s a basic place. I really liked the green garden with the table to eat outside. All in all it was plenty of space for us (three people) and we enjoyed to be close to the mountains.

The dacha has everything you need for a stay in Chimgan. We were welcomed by the sweet, neighbouring woman who was easily available if ever we needed help/taxis/water (she runs a little kiosk not far if you need any basics). It's very spacious and comfortable and warm...good spot to relax after a day of hiking. She will turn on the sauna/banya for an additional fee (50k som) if you ask!
