What a beautiful place to be. The little town is awesome, you can visit many restaurants with all varying menu's. There's a konbini not even 50m from the Ryokan. We booked the Japanese room, and it was so cute! Spacey but homey, which is usually quite hard to achieve. We slept on futons, but there was also the option to use a bed if we didn't like sleeping on the futons. Really awesome! What truly spoke most to me, was our hostess, Mayumi. She is such a sweet lady! She's probably the first face you'll see when you enter the Ryokan. She loves to chat and was super helpful whenever we needed something. It was an absolute blast to meet her and get to know more about their family Ryokan! Our hostess even went as far as to change up the breakfast menu once or twice in our week long stay there, to make a bread dish for us to feel more at home. (She asked us what we usually ate for breakfast and then asked if we'd like to have bread for breakfast.) There was parking for the car right next to the Ryokan and we were allowed to stay there for free. The onsen experience was amazing!!! Both rooms were decorated so cutely I enjoyed just looking at it. The temperature was so nice and warm! At the end of our stay Mayumi gave us a little gift and a handwritten letter. I absolutely adored it. At the moment they're working on making another space so that they'll be able to host tea ceremonies! So we'll definitely be back to give that a try!
