Home stay place is a clean 2-bed room [4 people can stay] spacious flat on first floor with all required amenities [has a typical south Indian wooden swing in the hall bringing back childhood memories]. Location is in a street [ located between a neem tree & a green walled house] at a reasonable distance by foot or wheels from the West Gate of the Temple. Near the temple there are good vegetarian restaurants like Krishna Vilas [near East Gate]. The host arranged for a priest in the temple who enabled us to get a good darshan satisfactorily.

It’s an amazing homestay! The host of the property was very helpful in accomodating us..She is a very sweet lady! I will definetly book this place again for my next visit to Chidambaram.
