This was a very mixed bag. Firstly, the people were great, breakfast too, we didn't have food in the evening. Our twin room number 4, both mattresses were lumpy, the basin was cracked, the toilet seat was heavily stained, there was no hot water for a shower in the morning, and there was a smell in the room. It seems that, although the staff are working hard, a bit more needs to be done with the hardware in the room. We stayed here a couple of times before with little to comment on.

The staff were brilliant - friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and polite The beer was great, the chessboard could not have been better.
