The whole stay was excellent. Lovely quiet area, really warm welcome. There was absolutely everything one could want in the bathroom. Good choice of teas and biscuits on the hospitality tray. Excellent selection of guide books, leaflets and maps in the room. Good continental breakfast with fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, toast and jam, which was ideal for me! Very safe area, lovely pub about one mile away which is also close to a footpath along the waterway. Station nearby and also bus services, so not having a car was no problem for me. I also enjoyed meeting Clare's lovely cat, Edward! It is a great place for a solo woman traveller to stay, but I am sure that a couple would also enjoy it.

This was an excellent stay, excellent breakfast and facilities. We have been offered a lift to the venue , which was wonderful. Our host was very friendly and helpful in all respects. Our stay was very enjoyable
