Staff superb. Room small but as expected in a Pub. Breakfast excellent and main meals above average, freshly cooked Pub Grub. Superb location for visiting the Cathedral. Free Parking.

The breakfast was faultless and the staff were very obliging . There’s a bus stop to Portsmouth just around the corner.

The location was excellent - walkable from cathedral, shops and theatre. The breakfast was really good and I appreciated 2x poached eggs, not 1. The staff were all really welcoming and friendly. The beer garden had a mix of shaded and unshaded tables and the live music was quiet and stopped by bedtime. The bed was comfortable with really lovely pillows.
