Close to the archeological site. Tent on the concrete ground, pallets as a base, mattress on top = reasonable place to stay. Local family kitchen in the rainforest.

The location is great, and very friendly staff. There are small trails for shorter walks (1-2km) and good food available.

Brilliant location for visiting Calakmul - 5 kms down the Calakmul turnoff . You couldn’t be nearer. Beautiful jungle surrounding with 2 jungle walks. Helpful and knowledgeable staff . Delicious restaurant nearby
