Clean and has warm and steady shower water. WiFi is good. No frills, just a good water dispenser, but there are eateries a short 5-10min walk away. Has nice smelling shower gel and shampoo, and a hairdryer. I didn't recognise the hostel at first because I was early and the lights were still off, so you have to ring the bell. The nice lady inside then gave me an my automatic room key card.

Clean. Lovely girl at reception was able to answer some questions about the area. Female dorm was nice with big beds and curtains. Bathroom was good. Plenty of hot water. Location is excellent especially if you come by train or bus and want to take early bus to Alishan.

Really great location 5 minutes walk from the train station and bus stop to Alishan so it was really convenient. Dorm was really nice and cozy with privacy curtains and very clean.

Everything was perfect! - the hostel location is just a 3 minutes walk from the train and bus station, perfect for catching an early bus to Alishan forest - friendly staff & a hostel cat - clean toilets and showers - shampoo and toothpaste provided - comfortable bed, clean room - close to restaurants, coffee shops and the night market
