The location is lovely. Near to trails and walkable from the station though hotel provides a free shuttle which is handy with luggage. They also provide a free shuttle for the sunrise train and helpful with a wake up call. The staff are friendly. Our room was in the old wing and had a partial view of the mountains and sunset. I like the way some of the traditional reception office and bar has been preserved in the old wing with some old photos and history available.

Lovely setting of the hotel. Room in the historic building was fine. Staff were friendly and very helpful in last minute changing the dates. Dinner and breakfast were good with lots of choices. Shuttle bus worked well.

Great location close to key parts of Alishan. Free transfer from bus stations and shuttles around Alishan were useful, especially sunrise rail.
