The location is perfect if you would like to visit Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai Zoo or the Doi Suthep National Park. The hotel is approx 5 km from the ancient city but Grab will give you a lift. Our room was spacy enough, bathroom clean, warm water available. Breakfast available as buffet (Thai & Farang). Just a few meters away you will find Malin Plaza with plenty of food stands and shops.

This was my second stay at The Core, and I was happy to see the refreshed reception area, the changes made the arrival experience more welcoming. We booked a family room, which was large and comfortable, perfect for relaxing. The only part that felt a little unusual was the room access concept, as the keys opened directly into the two separate bedrooms instead of the living space. Overall, still a pleasant and enjoyable stay!

The bed was comfortable, the place is really clean and we would get room service every day. The hotel was close to a market that had local food and is roughly 16 minutes walk from Maya shopping centre. The staff were really helpful, they gave vouchers for the shop right next to the hotel, there’s a restaurant right across the street for those who don’t want to catch a ride into town for breakfast and there’s a laundry.

We liked the location, the pool and the billiards, and the smart TV with internet access. The bed was large, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, but rather monotonous, with the same dishes for the four days we stayed there. At first we were given a room with windows facing the road, it was very noisy at night. I asked for a quieter room. The next day it was done without any problem.
