The hotel is lovely, breakfast splendid, rooms are incredibly detailed and have a cosy interior. The staff is amazing, they gave me a room upgrade upon arrival, for which I'm truely grateful.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The property was beautifully decorated and there were nice communal areas to sit in. Plus free hot and cold drinks and snacks available throughout the day. It was in a good location for accessing the old town as well as being close to nice bars and restaurants on the river.

What a brilliant place. I tend to choose hotels that are out of the way of the hustle and bustle and I could not have picked a better hotel than Gategaa Village. The interior of the rooms was stylish and modern while the amenities on offer were also good. I spent most of the day outside and what I really appreciated most were the free snacks they put out for everyone. After a day trekking or sightseeing, it was great to indulge in some dessert or fresh fruit. I’d recommend the coconut jelly in syrup! However, above all, what I really liked most about this hotel was their environmentally ethos. I appreciated their effort to remind guests to hang up used towels or to indicate whether sheets need changing as cleaning the aforementioned can use up a lot of water. Thank you for the wonderful stay; I would love to return!
