Its location with restaurent and bar facilities by the riverside was excellent, along with its easy walking distance to all the main sights in Chester. Plenty of free parking was available. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was varied along with its good choice of cooked options.

The Hotel by the River Dee was well situated for sail on the river boats, for the Hop Off/On Bus and only 5 minute walk from the city centre. The room was well appointed and spacious with a kettle and tea, coffee etc. The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly and the food was excellent. Free parking at the hotel. We found it excellent value for money.

Lovely outlook to the river. Great meals at reasonable prices (we had the steak special). Within walking distance to the main town along the city walls.Parking included in a good sized lot.
