The breakfast was very good. However, hash browns and or tomatoes, would have been nice, as an option. An alternative to butter would have also been nice. Sunflower spread as an option is always nice.

We were a travelling rugby team of 30 guests and from the moment we arrived at reception, the staff set the tone for what turned out to be a truly fantastic stay. Every single member of the squad was made to feel genuinely welcome — the team were polite, helpful, and couldn’t do enough for anyone. The little touches made all the difference. A complimentary round of beers at the bar for the whole team was a wonderful surprise and a real sign of great hospitality. When we returned late after a night out in Chester, there was no fuss whatsoever — staff were on hand and even offered water for everyone to take up to their rooms to help with hydration. That kind of thoughtfulness goes a long way. Breakfast the following morning was equally impressive and sent the lads off in great spirits before we boarded the bus home. To put it in the words of one of our players: “The hotel and staff were wicked.” We couldn’t agree more. Highly recommended — especially for large groups and sports teams!

Comfortable room, very friendly staff, great food, and the warm swimming pool and afternoon teas are big favourites of my children.

Outstanding customer service. Staff were friendly and welcoming from checking in to checking out. The personalised note in the room was a lovely touch. Breakfast was lovely and rooms were great. Definitely worth what we paid.
