“beautiful locatoin beautiful breakfast. really reasonable price.”

theres no doubt this is a super pretty hotel - its up a long windy drive way that lulls you into a sense your not anywhere near london. its very large and rabbit runny if that makes sense big long corridors to find stuff, reception lady was nice, but there was no welcome information like breakfast times wifi code anything like that good selection of drinks in room and the bed was super comfy. Breakafst was beautiful with a really good quality selection in a beautiful room, i ate in the bar was ok, probably wasn't worth what I paid but were in london I guess, a pint is 6.75 again dear but london, the grounds are beautiful and the cost was so reasonable. 98.69 for a double room with breakfast.

We've stayed here before. So we knew what it would be like. Room was good. Breakfast excellent. Peaceful place to stay.

“Stunning setting for country walks and a relax”

We had a wonderful stay at the Latimer house hotel from start to finish. There was a wedding on the night we stayed, which can sometimes mean that the staff are left harried and stressed but not so at Latimer house. as soon as we arrived we were greated kindly and with a smile, and while our room wasn’t ready, we were able to grab a quick coffee while the manager found out what was going on with our room. Finding that our room wasn’t immediately available he very kindly gave us an upgrade to stay in the main house, meaning that we had the most beautiful room with an incredible bed and lots of lovely details. The location is stunning with beautiful views and walks around the chess valley (which we know well). The staff in the bar were brilliant despite being busy and the young gentleman who went off and got me a non-alcoholic Prosecco (finding none of the non-alcoholic wine which was on the menu available) was both courteous and attentive. Our bedroom was silent and incredibly dark and comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful with a high pressure shower. in the morning we had a delicious breakfast, my only Complaint being that the situation with the coffee and teas could be improved so that there is no proper filter coffee available (on machine coffee). Having a member of staff going around to top up teas and coffees would keep the visitors happy I’m sure. Latimer house also has a fascinating history, which the hotel should make a bigger deal of (it explains why the building is so bizarre and full of long corridors). All in all a fab stay, we will absolutely be back.
