Please note that early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and additional charges are applicable. I absolutely love the Leela brand, and of all the Leela properties I have stayed at as a regular guest, my favourite remains The Leela Palace in Chennai. The moment you pass through the security gates and head towards the main entrance, you are transported into a world of luxury. You are warmly welcomed by the meet-and-greet staff, surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds and the stunning central water feature. The check-in process is seamless, and while it is completed, you are invited to wait in the magnificent lobby, adorned with chandeliers, elegant furniture worthy of royalty, and the uplifting fragrance of fresh flowers. You are then guided to your room through softly scented corridors that set the tone for a truly luxurious stay. The rooms themselves are grand, spacious, and equipped with outstanding amenities. Be sure to try the power shower, you will not be disappointed. I would like to express my appreciation to Vikash from Housekeeping, who was extremely thorough and ensured my room was always in perfect condition. I am also delighted that Siva, a former housekeeper and an exceptional human being, is still part of the hotel. Everywhere you go, the staff greet you with respect, a wonderful quality that truly makes you feel welcome. The swimming pool area on the 3rd floor is beautifully landscaped, offering ample space to sit back and relax. A special thank-you to Chandra and Kumar for consistently providing the very best service. The ground-floor courtyard is also exquisitely designed, reminding you once again that you are staying in a palace. When it comes to culinary delights, Citrus is one of the finest restaurants I have experienced. You are warmly greeted by Rukhsana, who escorts you to your table. The moment you enter, you are met with an extensive spread of regional and international cuisine, a true royal banquet. From the moment we arrived, we were thoroughly impressed by the level of service and attention to detail at this stunning hotel. The property itself is absolutely beautiful — elegant interiors, breathtaking sea views, and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere throughout. The range of restaurants was outstanding, offering an impressive variety of cuisines, each dish crafted to perfection. We also loved spending our evenings at the bar, where the cocktails were truly exceptional — creative, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The staff were consistently helpful, courteous, and professional. A special mention must go to our dedicated butler, Ariful, who was nothing short of extraordinary. He went above and beyond throughout our stay — assisting with bookings, checking in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed, and adding thoughtful touches that made us feel genuinely cared for. His impeccable service made our experience unforgettable. We also spent time in the Executive Lounge, which was a lovely retreat and perfect for unwinding during the cocktail hour. Esther in the lounge was equally wonderful — warm, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. The pool area was serene and beautifully maintained, offering the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. Our sea view room was spacious, elegant, and spotlessly clean, with every comfort thoughtfully provided. Overall, this hotel delivers a seamless blend of luxury, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality.
