Great location, plenty of free parking space, food was average well presented limited options on menu. Breakfast , small buffet help yourself style, main course served fresh cooked in kitchen and served at table. Very old building we had a bath which had a shower without a shower screen and curtain impossible to stand up and have a shower, Room 4. The heating was warm enough to be comfortable on a warm outside day , and property relied on a wood burner to heat the restaurant area in the bar but was not stocked to heat before customers arrived. As the building is extremely old and impressive, it requires modernisation as our bedroom had single glazing and windows were very drafty. All in all, it was a great experience, but we were expecting a bit more comfort for the price.

Food excellent, room and bathroom good size, quality cotton bedding . Large garden Staff friendly and helpful. Quality breakfast, Hotel very dog friendly, walks from hotel. Plenty of parking.

Amazing place to stay not far from everywhere, beautiful location. Amazing staff very dog friendly and the food was all home made and delicious we will definitely be coming back

Breakfast was lovely. Freshly cooked and generous portions. Also, they were kind enough to open the breakfast service early as we needed to attend an event. Lovely fresh food for dinner. Staff very attentive, friendly and helpful.

Extremely friendly hosting staff who were on hand all the time. Bedroom spacious and incredibly comfortable with food amenities.
