The house is a gorgeous old property set in an attractive small garden on the edge of a little village. The beds are large and comfortable. The meal provided was delicious. The host and hostess are affable and welcoming.

The room was clean and comfortable, the house and surroundings beautiful. Right next to the river, lovely place to sit in the garden under the trees looking at the river to finish my book.. Dinner was supplied as an extra which saved going out and was delicious…Hosts super friendly…Lovely stay.

The historical charm was evident in every detail. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, even preparing a delicious dinner that showcased local flavours. If you're looking for a truly unique and unforgettable experience I highly recommend this guest house.

It is a delightful old house on the bank of the River Sarthe. Whilst the house in general is delightfully traditionally furnished, our large, comfortable, attic room was converted in a creative, modern style. Location is rural, but easy to find, and not inconvenient for the long-distance traveller. Very pleasant, attentive, but unobtrusive hosts.
