The room wa splendidly beautiful in a traditional Moroccan style. It was definitely one of the best rooms I’ve stayed in. The staff were amazing. They tried to help us the best they could and provided us with great hospitality so we truly felt at home there. There was a minor problem with the heating system — AC wasn’t working for the heating, so it was freezing in the room due to the cold temperatures outside. The staff provided us with extra warm blankets and a radiator, which was super comfortable. The real gem of this place is the rooftop with a view of the whole city and the Rif mountains — it was the perfect start of the day, having our breakfast with such a landscape before our eyes. Breakfast was also traditional, diligently served with delicious pastries and a variety of different beverages.

This was a great place to stay. Located high up in Chefchaouen, Dar Yakout is a really nice, welcoming riad. The room was nicely fitted out and very spacious. Breakfast was really nice and copious, served on the top floor terrace with a nice view over Chefchaouen. The staff were really friendly and helpful, even providing us with a room for the entire day on the day we left (one of us was not feeling well and they let us sleep all day in a spare room). We were very grateful for the care and assistance provided by the staff. The dar closed after we left to undergo a fill refit over a period of three months. We wish them well and a successful re-opening in April.
