The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and comfortable, little touches like fresh milk for tea and coffee were appreciated, friendly staff, very good breakfast. In response to the question about ‘quiet’ - the Ship & Trades is a pub/hotel with a lively evening trade so we didn’t expect it to be quiet. I don’t remember asking for a quiet room.
