Wonderful views. Location is very convenient for the coast. Cottage is comfortable and very well equipped. The hosts seem very friendly (although we didn’t actually meet them). Parking was easy.

Excellent place with lovely view Lots of little touches that made our stay extra special - treats for dogs, homemade cookies, milk in the fridge. Left cot and highchair out upon request. Comfortable living space. Lots of storage space for clothes. Hosts were fantastic and when we saw them we welcoming and chatty. Provided extra bedding when we asked as we had other guests stay.

The Stables A great location for fossil hunting in Charmouth. The beach there is the most rewarding in what you can take home, out of the beaches we visited in any case. Monmouth Bay has some really nice rocks to look at but they are arduous to get to. The accommodation is well set out. Seating for 6 in the lounge, although all of the seating is quite low, so if you don't get up very easily, I would advise sitting on a cushion. The double bedroom has an en-suite, which was a pleasant surprise as I had completely forgotten this detail since booking. Our twin boys had the twin room and our 22yr old had the single. He would definitely have appreciated a double bed, but he wasn't getting ours! The welcome basket was a great feature, especially as I am the only one that drinks wine.
