Great place to stay either en route or as a base for exploring the area. Simple and clean room. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Lovely evening meal and Sophie went over and above to cater fof my gluten free requirements. Very dog friendly. Lovely spot and we visited the local cave and bought some wine.

A great overnight stop to break a journey or an ideal base for exploring the surrounding wine region. The welcome was fantastic and the room comfortable and extremely quiet. This traditional country hotel is close enough to the autoroute to make it a convenient overnight stop and also serves the needs of walkers and the residents of this small and pretty village which gives it’s name to one of the world’s great wine grapes. It’s congenial atmosphere is about the closest one can get to that of an English village pub.
