The cottage was cute and I enjoyed to use the fireplace in the evening.

Being in the Langdale Valley was a treat, being able to walk from the property in top rate countryside was great. Having really good pubs for food and drink so close was great too. The property itself was fine for an able bodied couple with everything you needed for a week long break.

Great location overlooking the village and the valley. A short walk to the shop and the pub. Lots of opportunities for hill walking, great local bus service for longer journeys without the car.
