The best choice! This is honestly the best area to stay. In just 5 minutes you’re at the beach if you go left, and in another 5 minutes you reach the Venetian harbor if you go right. Everything you need is close by – pharmacies, a 24/7 supermarket, and plenty of tasty tavernas. You really don’t need a car unless you plan to explore the whole island. There’s also free parking, and it was always easy to find a spot. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The host, Nikolas, was amazing – he answered all our questions no matter the time, which made everything so easy. Right now (July 2025) there are some construction works in front of the building, but it didn’t really bother us because we were out most of the day, usually at the beach. Next time we come, we’ll definitely stay here again!

Close to town centre, restaurants. Nearby shop for groceries. Short walk to excellent beach.

The apartment is located in a walking distance from downtown. Easy check in, parking. Despite the cold weather, the heating solution worked out well.

Excellent apartment, everything worked. Good internet and TV. Lift to the flat which is on 2nd floor. Top location adjacent to the old town but with easy parking- we parked in the street, but there is also private parking in the basement carpark. This was by a long way the best of various places we stayed in Crete
