“Overall, very happy with our stay.”

Excellent location. Five minutes to old town to the east. Ten minutes to the west, there were many reasonably priced waterfront patio restaurants. You can see the lighthouse from the apartment. Khrysanthi was an awesome host.

An exceptional location, especially for a busy city like Chania. The view from the balcony is fantastic and it is quiet in the night. Very friendly host.

“Perfect location in Chania with amazing sea and city views and very quiet. Would stay again.”

We have stayed in Chania a few times and this is the best location in the town. It is very central, 10 mins walk from the bus station, 10 mins to the beach and 10 mins to the harbour. The apartment is on the 4th floor of a five storey building with a lift. It was very quiet, we didnt hear or see anyone in the block the whole 2 weeks we stayed there. There is a great supermarket at the end of the street where you can get all your supplies, it has a lovely bakery section, lots of fresh fruit and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Great communication from the owner before our stay and during our stay and we actually met her on the day we were leaving. Lovely lady. The apartment has a very big balcony with fantastic sea and city views, its probably the best view that we have ever had on holiday. Great wi fi. TV with BBC world. Plenty of towels. Washing machine. Chania is a lovely bustly town, it has expanded a lot since we last visited about 8 years ago. It seems to have gone quite upmarket now with lots of trendy restaurants and bars. Also lots of shops to walk round. We visited the Saturday market over by the football stadium, Mainly fruit and veg but there were a few clothes stalls. The same market is also on Wed and Thur I think but at different locations around the town. The open air cinema was fabulous although the films dont start until about 10.20 pm. The films are in english with greek subtitles. The film was rubbish but we didnt care, it was just lovely watching a film outside in the warm night air under the stars. The open air bus was ok - the audio wasnt working on the upper deck but to be honest we werent that bothered. It mainly goes around the town where we had already walked but it does go out to Suda Bay and the war cemetries.
