The staff is very kind, smiley and helpful. Rooms are cleaned daily, and the hotel, including the pools, is spotless. Breakfast options are varied and meet different dietary needs. Several trips to historical sites and the most beautiful beaches in the Western coast of the island can be booked via the hotel. The hotel is literally on the beach, and only 20 min via bus to Chania. Overall, a very good experience at Caldera Bay.

Pools & availability of sun beds were excellent Proximity to beach and location within Platanias were both excellent Staff were really easy to deal with Breakfast was nice Shop within the complex was cheaper than other local shops on the street for a lot of items

The staff, especially Stella and the lovely lady on reception, were very kind and helpful, and make us feel very welcome from our arrival right up until we checked out. We had a room upgrade which was amazing and we were most grateful for it. The breakfast was fantastic and the location was excellent. All in all we had a great holiday and we will definitely return. The cleaning staff around the complex were so lovely and did an amazing job keeping our apartment clean and tidy. Thank you 🙏
