the people that run the hostel are SO NICE! they gave us recommendations for places to eat and let us keep our bikes indoors.

We loved our stay at Jincheng hostel. We needed to stay near the railway station for a night and the hostel was perfect. The owners were absolutely delightful, although they did not speak much English they were super kind and helpful. The hostel is charming, spotlessly clean and comfortable with lovely extras for making drinks and food. The short walk from the railway station to the hostel and then, next day, to the bus station for a bus to Lukang made it a perfect location. Also, it was near to the very interesting train turntable in Changhua.

Small rooms but location is good. Narrow stairs, but it's fitted with chair lift. A variety of snacks and hot beverages available at ground floor.
