This is a very relaxed and welcoming hotel in an attractive town. I enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant. I think it represents outstanding value for money and highly recommend it.

A lovely welcome by Celine, who pretty much single handedly runs the hotel. She speaks excellent English, and was very informative, helpful and kind. As she was by herself that night, she asked us to pre order our meal, which was no problem for us, and was served in the cosy cellar restaurant. Breakfast was simple but nice, part buffet style, but with Celine on hand. Ample off street parking across the road. If in the area we would stay again.

We stayed overnight on our return from the Alps. About a half hour drive from the Route du Soleil. Interesting to see this part of France. Very friendly, hospitable owner who speaks good English and a few words of Dutch. Good beds. Good value for money. Nice simple restaurant where we had a salad, coq au vin and a local Pinot Noir. The only downside is that the road next to the hotel can be a bit noisy from 6 am.

In the very centre of town, perfect for the francigena pilgrims. The host was very friendly and helpful, with a good knowledge of English. The bed was comfortable, and the room was very quiet even if on the main road. There were no facilities for making tea/coffee in the room which would have been lovely after a long walk under the rain, but overall a good rest. We will remember the kindness and helpfulness of the host, who offered advice, support, and help on our way forward. Excellent for pilgrims.
