We had a lovely welcome, but as we were in the area for a wedding we didn’t spend much time in the room which was quite nice … There is a beautiful garden which we didn’t have time to enjoy.

The location was superb - down a quiet country lane, a lovely house, and garden. The swimming pool was a welcome bonus in this long hot summer. Although small, the accommodation was well-appointed (we had the smaller of the two rooms). The fridge was great, although I would have appreciated a kettle for drinks - my fault for not checking this beforehand. The hosts were very welcoming yet discreet and we really loved the breakfast - with unusual homemade jams - banana and courgette went down very well!!
